Oakley UK wanted a series of podcasts of their sponsored athletes (skateboarders, snowboarders, wakeboarders and surfers) to appear on the Oakley website, also for YouTube, MySpace and other websites. The footage was filmed at the Boardmasters event in Newquay, August 2007 and edited soon after.
Oakley UK have a series of mini-websites for their sponsored athletes and this clip helps them to raise the awareness of their brand by providing entertainment through the use of video. The branding is intentionally subtle so as not to detract from the main content.
